Letter of invitation
Dear experts and scholars,
The 2021 International Seminar on Technological
Progress Promotes the Quality of Rural Education hosted by the UNESCO
International Research and Training Centre for Rural Education (UNESCO
INRULED), the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education
(UNESCO IITE) and the Beijing Normal University is scheduled to be held online on
16-17 January 2021. The seminar aims to deepen understanding and consensus on
the approach of technological progress for quality rural education, leverage
international wisdom for the improvement of rural education in the
post-pandemic era, and explore possible solutions for the sustainable
development of the rural education.
The seminar will be held via Zoom Webinar and live streaming
will be organized. The seminar is comprised of 4 panel sessions surrounding 6central
sub-themes, namely: influence of online education on development theories,
discussion of pedagogical approaches to online education, sociological thinking
of online education, role of partnership in online education, accessibility and
inclusion in online education, promotion and encouragement of leadership in
online education, and assessment of online education.
No conference fee will be charged for this seminar.
