    Dr. Hong is professor and executive director of Institute of Higher Education Beijing Normal University since April 2010. The Institute maintains a good relation with such higher education institutes as OISE, Melbourne, Michigan Higher, IOE of ULC, Hiroshima, Wisconsin as well as Boston. 

     

    He received master degree and PhD of education from Beijing Normal University. He was the associate professor in 1999. He was promoted to the full professor since 2004. And he holds his research interest in the areas of Policy and Administration studies. Recently, he focused on the studies of Knowledge mobilization and its impact on policy making; university fundraising and endowment; student career guidance. He has supervised several international students in English. He supervised the first PhD students from Indonesia and Philippines in higher education studies. He acts as the column writer for the famous media such as The China Education News (中国教育报)and Guang Ming Daily(光明日报).

     

    He has published several books, such as the Theory and Practice into the School Planning, and Studies on the Value and classification into the Knowledge. He has published over one hundred papers in academic journals.

     

    He was the vice chairman of The Association of Yin Zhi (Brain Gain) during 2004-2008, under the China Association of Higher Education Studies. He is the vice president of the Beijing Association of Foreign Economy and Trade since 2014.

     

    During 2009-2010, He worked in the Macau Bureau of Education and Youth Affairs as the chief consultant. During 2004-2008, he acted as the director of International Affairs Office for Beijing Normal University when he and his colleagues established the famous international network of The Leading International Alliance of the Leading Education Institutes. During 2001-2003, he was the vice dean of Education Administration College of BNU when he and his colleagues succeeded in applying for the key program of Education Economy and Administration. He has studied in the University of Pittsburg, Leuven and Yale.

    Professor Qi Li, higher education quality improvement and student affairs; Asian Coordinator, for American Association for College Student Affairs Studies;

    Professor Zuoyu Zhou, higher education evaluation and student life survey; President of Chinese Association of Education Evaluation;

    Professor ZhongBinglin, policy and administration of higher institutions and evaluation; president, Chinese Association of Education Science;

    Professor Haitao Zhou, studies on private higher education policy and administration;

    Professor Yun Yao, studies on postgraduate education and Post-doctor program as well as education law studies.

    Dr. Ruijun Du Dr. Hong Wei, and Dr. Fang Fang hold the interest of Enrollment Policy and Management.

    Dr. JinzhongQiao, Dr, Xinghai Jiang, Dr. Huizhen Liu have the interest of education sociology and education finance studies.
