UNESCO International Research and Training Center for Rural Education (IRTCRE)
The mission of UNESCO International Research and Training Center for Rural Education is to promote sustainable socio-economic development in rural areas and to bring about positive changes in thinking and behavior of rural people who make up the majority of the world's population, through educational research, training and extensive programs. It is also aimed at promoting research in rural education, developing new techniques for rural education, providing consulting service for policy-making regarding human resource development in rural areas, building a network for academic and technical exchange in the field of rural education among experts from different countries, facilitating research and field research as well as holding international conference focusing on rural education.
