On May 6, 2016, a delegation of University of West Georgia visited the Faculty of Education. The group included Assistant Dean of College of Education Stephen C. Bronack, Prof. Li Cao and four students. Vice Dean of FOE received the delegation.
The delegation arrived at BNU at around 8:30am and took a quick tour of the university. They then visited a class taught in English by Professor David Turner about Leadership and Management. The group greatly enjoyed the class and was impressed by the professor and the students.
At 10:00 am, Vice Dean Li met with the group and had a discussion with Assistant Dean Bronack and Prof. Cao about potential future cooperation. The focus of discussion was on a potential Joint Practicum Program opportunity. Both sides were very excited about developing the program and more specific details of the program will be discussed in the near future. The meeting also explored other collaborative possibilities in teaching, research, and program development.
During the cooperation meeting, the four students had an informal colloquium with four FOE students, exchanging views on cultural differences and similarities of studying and living in the US and China.
